Cryoblasting is an effective and environmentally friendly technology for cleaning any contaminants with dry ice granules, similar to sandblasting, but not abrasive. Dry ice granules, under the influence of high air pressure, fall on the surface and lead to sudden pinpoint hypothermia, which must be removed. The contamination becomes brittle and simply peels off and is removed without damaging the surface or paint itself, and dry ice turns into carbon dioxide without leaving a trace. Dry ice sublimates upon contact with a surface, leaving no secondary waste stream that must be contained, collected and disposed of.
The unique properties of dry ice make cryoblasting an ideal tool for cleaning delicate surfaces. This cleaning technology has a number of advantages over other cleaning methods: non-abrasive, quick cleaning, sterile, antibacterial effect, environmentally friendly technology, cleaning in hard-to-reach places, cleaning without stopping the operation of the enterprise, not needed by many people, cost-effective, innovative technology.
